BIN Flipping vs. Traditional Auctions

In Hypixel SkyBlock, Buy-It-Now (BIN) listings account for over 90% of total Auction House volume. Unlike traditional bidding auctions where capital is locked up for hours or days, BIN flipping relies on speed and arbitrage. When a player lists an item below its intrinsic crafting cost or Bazaar component value, our background web worker (`ah_worker.js`) catches the discrepancy within seconds.

Advanced Sniper Strategies

• Verify Applied Enchants & Reforges: An item listed slightly below market average might be clean (un-enchanted), whereas comparable listings have expensive ultimate enchants or Recombobulators applied. Check the item details before buying.
• Watch Out for Manipulation: Low-volume items with only 1 or 2 active listings on the AH can easily have manipulated BIN floors. Stick to high-liquidity items or verify that the Bazaar reference price supports the valuation.
• Account for AH Taxes: Remember that collecting coins from sold Auction House items incurs a listing tax and collection fee (typically 1% to 2% depending on price). Set your Min Margin % threshold above 5% to guarantee a healthy net profit buffer.
